...Have never been so attracted to anyone. And know I began to interest him before evening was over. I must be a new sort of creature to him.
Wish I could look into the future.
I wonder--I wonder oh, so much. But at any rate I'm sure we have not finished with each other. Never felt like this on meeting any one before.
"Ah," said Michael appreciatively when he went in, "how lovely we look. Just like a magazine cover."

"The Divided Path"
Twenty-five years ago today:

Saturday
In the morning Jeffrey Scott Burr and I left on a few errands. Jeffrey had to take his car in for repair. I picked him up and we enjoyed lunch together at The Starlight Cafe.
"I have a manager and he has proposed a five year contract with me," Jeffrey said in-between sandwich bites.
He continued, "I have a Business Marketing degree as well from Baylor University."
"We have something in common because I have a Business degree with a concentration in Marketing," I said and subjects began to change shifts to our astrology signs.
"I was born on October 3rd, I'm a Libra."
"I'm a Gemini, May 26th."
I thought we may be quite compatible since Sue Miller is an October 12th Libra and I get along with her pretty well. Jeffrey explained that his manager had lined-up an audition for him for a feature film as well as a screen test for a New York soap-opera called "Loving".
"That sounds great!" I said with encouragement.
Face it. I like the guy a lot. Jeffrey and I cruised on over to the Beverly Shopping Center where he bought a bed. It is to be delivered on November 15th. He also bought a new shirt and I did, too. By this time of the day we had mutually agreed that we are so glad we have met one another.
"You know, my agent...or manager has told me to enjoy the bar scene now because my profile must remain low in terms of 'you know what' or else my acting career would falter," Jeffrey further explained.
All I know is that Jeffrey 'point blank' told me, "I am so happy I met you last night."
We have agreed that more will be in store for us. Jeffrey confirmed that he would come to Northern California to visit me.
I dropped Jeffrey off at his pad in West Hollywood at 3:30pm, so he could nap for a while, get laundry done, pick up his car and have dinner with his manager.
"I have to get to know my manager better," Jeffrey confirmed.
I was so fascinated by his hopeful career. And in a way, I was envious, too. It made me think of a line that Jim Koran said to me:
"You have a GREAT face."
I want to think of another line from Jeffrey Scott Burr that sticks in my mind. His smile and blue eyes outshine it all. When he gave the go ahead for a future together it was a blessing and an enticing feeling for me.
After dropping Jeffrey at his home I drove a bit and found a not-so-great hotel. I felt like (crashing) sleeping. I tried to sleep but could not. I plan to call Jim Koran and I am to meet Jeffrey at 'The Revolver' at 10:30pm.
"I think Jeffrey will be coming home with me to this little hotel tonight," I thought silently as my eyes rested.
"Knowing Jeffrey will be here with me tonight will make me feel all the more positive about 'us' when we are together again," I thought silently, "I bet I will see him in that new shirt he bought and he will see me in the one I bought tonight."
After finally napping and showering I ended up at 'The Revolver' at 8pm. Randy, Dan and a few other friends of Jim Koran showed up. They rapped with me. We laughed and drank cocktails. When 10:30pm came along I was searching for Jeffrey to walk in via the entry door. I was in utter dismay. Jeffrey pulled a 'no show'. I was down and out. By 12:30am Jim Koran had shown up with his long blond tresses looking just perfect.
I thought, "I just don't know anymore."
The thought was especially strong after Randy asked, "You're feeling kind of trapped into something, aren't you?"
And then Jim's little phrases about me like 'nicest ass', 'one of the sexiest men I've ever known' told me that he was beginning to get used to my being around.
The "++ sensual ++ kisses' we were sharing must mean something. All I could do was play it by ear and 'see what happens'.
I ended up spending the night with Jim. I checked-out of the little hotel and had forgotten my miniature gold GUCCI lock that goes with my suitcase. Oh well.
