Payday! $638.00! Hurrah!
Jim Koran phoned me at work, leaving a message about NOT picking him up at SFO (the San Francisco Airport) on Friday. 'I will call you on Saturday, Jim.'
Steff is not calling at the office as frequently as she used to do. Thank God!
This morning Dale and I conference called with Robert McGee from Massachusetts. He is my customer who wants the 800/WATS service. I asked Dale to help me out on the call. Dale did some extra fact-finding and we learned that he may require Automatic Call Director and Centrex Telecommunications Service. Time will tell. I may get 800 lines galore (twenty of them) sales credit for this one.
I received 13,588 PNS Sales points so far for my catalog of incentive prizes. Hurrah!
Tomorrow I get a two-hour lunch. Dale and I will pretend to go to Church for Good Friday and spend a couple of spiritual hours at the Wharf.
Mary McTiernan got her haircut and it reminded me of Dustin Hoffman in the movie TOOTSIE. I think it's because she was wearing eyeglasses that I had never seen her wear before.
Last night was funny after the DEPECHE MODE concert. I was remembering when some guy called me "Herb". I just looked at him and had no idea who he was.
Steff explained, "Michael, when someone says HERB it means that they want some dope."
Duh, Dopey me. I should've known that.
Today and yesterday, Dale was drooling over the thought of Will, a Pac Bell Representative that works upstairs in MAJOR Accounts, specializing in Hotel and Bank clientele. He was at the South San Francisco Consulting firm evaluation last Tuesday. This morning I finally met him. He's okay. I guess I'd rate him between an "FBL" and "PBL" (Fuckable/Possible). Will lives in Alameda, near Santa Clara and St. Charles. He bikes a lot, so I'm sure we've crossed paths before. He seems nice but I'm wondering what Dale had up his sleeve by introducing the two of us. I think he's just 'okay'. Though, he does have a slight resemblance to Tom Selleck without the moustache.
Dale says, "Oh, I think he is so HOT."
Sue Leith hates Will because they were in a training class together.
Sue later learned (through the grapevine) that he said to someone, "I wish she'd quit trying to pick up on me. Doesn't she know I'm gay?"
Will was, of course, referring to Sue Leith.
Dale and I ate on Market Street and we saw those two elderly twins that always dress alike. I wish I'd remember to bring their photograph so I can give it to them. This reminds me...I wonder if my Santa Cruz pictures with Paloma are ready. Dale and I ate at CARL's JR and people-watched on Market Street. Dale's ex-ex (Terry) was around again. Dale seems to cope with him being around rather well now.
"They took the tiniest pleasures and made them fantastic."
