'Now I was home, hiding even more secrets.'

KYLE-XY,
Season II
People will forget what you said.
People will forget what you did.
But, people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.
Thank you for that!

Wednesday
The day flew by. I ate lunch alone at City Eats (Chinese Food). After work I received a surprise $125 check from the Bay Area Women’s Feminist Association for my sperm donations for the last several weeks.
Once home I called Dad who persuaded me to go over and visit him. I ate a couple of hot dogs and browsed through a SPIEGEL catalog.
I was bummed out this morning because the umbrella I bought in Beverly Hills for twenty-dollars was stolen! And so, I ordered a new, better thirty-six dollar umbrella with a brass duck handle. It is so much more posh, so now I feel better (just a bit).
I telephoned Jeffrey Burr again but he was not at home. I had to leave a message on his answering recorder but it should not make me feel distraught. I keep forgetting that he is a waiter, so he probably works nights. I believe he can/will be a legitimate friend to me at the very least. Time will tell.
I telephoned Karyn Kossoff and we talked and laughed. I told her about my missing umbrella.
“You should definitely not go back to get another one,” Karyn said in reference to the twenty-dollar umbrella that I bought in Los Angeles.
We laughed and verified plans for December 9th and December 23rd. We plan to join together for two Hitchcock flicks at the UC Theater in Berkeley.
Bruce called me while I was speaking to Karyn. When I returned his call I gave him a “La Dee Dah” explanation as to why I did not show up at the San Jose Fashion Show.
“Well, why don’t we get together and go out this Saturday?” Bruce asked.
“That’s debatable,” I said, explaining how I was low on funds.
I agreed to call later to see if we can work out a time. After that I was in the mood to give Chris Cordellos a telephone call to see what he was doing these days. When I called his Arcata number it was disconnected! I have allowed him to slip my mind to a certain extent.
Today, Barbara Reynolds asked, “Have you heard from your friend, Chris?”
I answered, “Not for a couple of weeks…not since he said he was getting out of the Coast Guard on December 15th.”
Barbara went on to share news of a friend she knew who worked at Vidal Sassoon in San Francisco. Her name is Susan. I ended up scheduling an appointment with her for next Tuesday, November 20th for her to wash and blow dry my hair. It sounds like fun.
DYNASTY was so good tonight! I love the show. I wish I could be a star on the show (or at least have a recurring cameo role). I guess I’m a want-to-be actor at heart.
