"There is a time for work
and a time for LOVE.
That leaves no other time."

I love it when I get book recommendations. And sometimes I spot strangers reading books and I take their photos in an attempt to get the book title for my own personal reference. On the day before my birthday, May 25, 2009, I was in Barcelona, Spain and I spotted a tourist (near my hotel) reading a book. I took this photo:
On October 9, 2009 while dining at Meadowood Restaurant in Napa Valley I was told by my dear friend, Stacey Bressler, of a great murder mystery book. It's called "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo". The same book that the Barcelona tourist was reading.
And most recently, on October 29, 2009, Alan's mother, Gloria Weiner Freiman Cohen tells me she read the book and absolutely LOVED it. It's on the top of my 'must read' list. I cannot ignore a book that comes into my picture via three different signals.

Work was a slow moving day. I managed fine.
Lunch was sweet as Bobbie Renbarger and I ate at the Natoma Cafe.
"I received that card you sent me of 'The Doors', I loved it," Bobbie said.
"I thought you'd like the significance of how once one door closes another opens," I replied.
It really was the perfect card for her. She is 'out of here' next week.
I posted and mailed Jim Koran's card this morning. The inscription imprint read, "In a world of Limited Editions, You're an Original." I have yet to hear from Jim (or from Jeffrey Burr for that matter).

after her burned lip from the HOT chocolate
When I arrived home I glanced at my mail and rushed over to mom's house to take care of Ashley for a while. I took pictures of her and we played crawl around games. I gave her a vanilla wafer and some HOT chocolate.
I believe the hot chocolate was much too HOT and I burned her lower lip. I felt so guilty. I did not tell Sherri about it. Ashley was good overall but acted a little uneasy at times. I calmed her down as much as I could. I changed her diaper once. I'm glad it was only pee. I probably didn't really need to change her but she smiled afterwards.
Sherri arrived at around 9:40pm. I was tired myself, so I went straight home. Tony and Helen were on the couch, watching a movie called "A Woman of Substance" when I arrived.
I simply said, "Good night."
They mumbled the same words but they were so "into" the movie.
