Alan and I have been visiting the Napa Valley six to eight weeks per year since May 2004. We have come to know select boutique wines that are so worthy of a taste. I thought I would share some of my very favorite wines with you today.
Today is also the birthday of a very dear Vintner friend. Happy Birthday, Stacey Bressler! These wines are are "delicioso".
You would be a fool NOT to go to the following websites and denote your name on their mailing/waiting lists. If you do so you may still NOT be lucky enough to be offered the wine--but it's worth a try. Here are the six 'sexy' boutique wines that I love:
1. BRESSLER Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon

2. SCARECROW Cabernet Sauvignon

I am still trying to get accustomed to my new desk at work. Helen has been on the hunt for a new apartment because Geneva (her sister) is getting married with Derek Hibbard. The question of whether a baby is 'on the way' is still a mystery.
On this night, Chris Cordellos and I went to STARGAZE, a dance club, in Fremont, California. Chris didn't have a problem driving tonight. We ate at the Ice-Cream Dock on Harbor Bay Isle. They make a wonderful cheeseburger with avocado. We had a good time. I met a gorgeous, young senior high school student from Danville, CA named Katie. She will be attending Pepperdine University in the Fall. I guess there is no point in pursuing this one. She is too young anyway...but so cute, blond, keen green eyes (or were they blue?). I have a weakness for 'light eyes'. Chris danced up a storm as well.
We departed early. It was a tad scary when we were in the car. We had one bottle of St. Pauli Girl beer in the car. A cop drove by and looked at Chris in the drivers seat.
"You don't want a ticket, do you?" asked the night shift cop.
"No, we're goin'," he replied.
Chris got so paranoid because he is under twenty-one (two more days until his March 4th birthday).
"Shit," I thought. I remained calm while in the car. I don't know what the trip was with that cop. We were seated in a parking lot outside a nightclub. I guess we looked like we may have been up to 'no good'. Luckily, we just went on our merry way without a hitch.
