I never did.
God, how I wish I had.

"Good Times Bad Times"
When I was a kid I was so enamored by the electric, on-screen chemistry of Elvis Presley and Ann-Margret in the the 1964 film "Viva Las Vegas". Here is just one of my favorite scenes from that film:

Oh yeah! Bruce Diamond telephoned today.
"Hey. I just wanted to call to wish you farewell on your trip to Vegas."
"Oh, Thanks. That's nice of you."
"Yeah, I will talk to you when you get back."
"Okay, sounds good," I replied as I secretly thought "Yikes, what does he want to talk about when I get back?"
I drove to Walnut Creek at 7:30AM to meet Dale Orlando at McDonald's. I arrived before he did, of course. Once he arrived we met with a prospective Pac Bell client who grew a milky odorous fungus for a cosmetic place in Kansas. This guy also ran a long distance company called Freedom Telecommunications. It was fun listening to Dale give his sales techniques. He's so good. I enjoyed watching him in action.
We returned to the Business Office and the work day was a bit hectic for me. I handled it fine though. Dale and I bought two books by "Anonymous" for our drive down to Vegas. We joked around with the Chinese sales clerk at the bookstore. The books by "Anonymous" are supposedly very sexually explicit.

Somehow Dale and I were able to be excused from work today at 4PM (Dale has a way of persuading since we went on the premise visit early this morning). We stopped at my bank and relaxed for a while at my place. I packed some weekend wear. We watched DYNASTY and the plan was to drive off for Vegas at about ten-thirty on this very night. Dale likes driving at night, without traffic. Viva Las Vegas!

don't you?"
