Wednesday

I was running late and I left my house at 7AM instead of the usual 6:45AM because Dale was fidgeting around. I was tempted by his idea of having breakfast somewhere. Alas, there was no time for it.

I was welcomed in to work and sweet Karyn Kossoff lent me a dollar for my parking space. Hurrah!

Work was great. I made some more connections and actually sold one Outgoing WATS line for thirty-five sales credit points. I had a total of forty-nine sales credit points by the end of the day. I also have a PREMIERE Calling Services order pending.

Once I settled into my desk, Carl Brooks consoled me after I gave him some tidbit news (in-between our customer phone calls) about Paloma flying back to France.
"Her being gone is a test for both of you. If it's meant to be...it will be."
"I guess you're right."
"She probably won't have any trouble coming back to the U.S. because Western Europeans are always welcomed here," Carl said.

After work I went straight home and napped until 7:20PM. I did muster up some energy to go to the gym. The usual crowd was there including Russ and Mr. Manhattan Beach. I worked out and made it home by 9:30PM for the latter portion of tonight's DYNASTY's episode.

Dale telephoned.
"Hi, how was the gym?"
"Good. Did I tell you Bruce called me yesterday?"
"No, what did he say?"
"He wants to get together."
"So...what are you going to do?"
"I want to shun him off somehow."
"I'm sure you can think of something."
"Well, my excuse for this Thursday is true because I'm pretty sure I'm most likely driving Marty to the San Francisco airport."
"Oh...you know, Marty and I had a quaint chat yesterday morning."
"I'm sure you did."
"Don't you want to hear about it?"
"Not really. I'm just glad that Marty will be away in L.A. all weekend."

I used Dale's mousse hair product to make my hair look wet. I like the stuff. He left it at my house along with his umbrella. I wonder if he left them on-purpose just so he would have to come back here.

There's an unkind saying that it takes one to know one, and it's almost true.
