"The Girl Who Played With Fire"
An equation commonly contains one or more so-called unknowns, often represented by x, y, z, etc.
Values given to the unknowns which yield equality between both sides of the equation are said to satisfy the equation and constitute a solution.
Example: 3x + 4 = 6X - 2 (x=2)

I drove directly in to the City today because I was in no mood to park at the Fruitvale BART station again.
Today is Ashley's ten month old birthday. What a scandal occurrence yesterday! I am trying not to beleaguer myself with anxiety. I look at it as if my car has a lot more character now. Jim Koran reacted pleasantly that I am so calm about the whole matter.
"I love that you never express anger."
That's one quality that Jim really and truly likes about me. I never get tired of hearing nice things about myself. Who wouldn't? However, while the burden of yesterday was a let down I am trying not to become too overbearing. My life will go on. It could have been worse. I just didn't like how I noticed each discovery a little at a time. For example, first it was just the tapes, then the garage opener, then the car mats and then the slit convertible at the very last. C'est la vie.
It is morning and I am here in San Francisco at 7:35AM (much too early) but I have a parking spot at least (with a car that has a slit on its convertible top). I can't wait to tell Sue Miller since her Mazda RX7 was recently "key scratched" by an unknown criminal. I feel for her.
Time goes on. I have a tentative outing scheduled tonight with Bruce Diamond. I plan to shun him off. There's no point in it. Dale (my Mr. Advice & Counsel) made me realize that. I am leading him on just like Steff (which is still not a closed chapter). Paloma! Ayude me!
Work was fine. I had a fair sale day. The Chinese take-out luncheon from my section (in the demo room) was good. We had some good laughs about turkey basting and/or artificial insemination. It's funny someone would mention that. I know the process well.
It was not bad driving in to San Francisco at all. I made it by 7:30AM and upon leaving the City I arrived home by 5:40PM. That may be my way from here on in.
I went to visit Dad and Ashley after work. Helen and Tony stopped by and we talked a bit about each other's office experiences.
Helen suggested, "I want to invite you and Paloma for dinner one evening."
"Oh, that would be fun."
"You never know. We may become in-laws."
That's when I began to wonder about the idea of Tony actually marrying her! (?)
Karyn Kossoff had a talk with me today about Dale and the rumors going on.
"I think you should just watch it," Karyn blurted.
Karyn is so kind. I like her ways.
She comforted me after she said, "You could have had your tires slashed."
I had never thought of that. It's funny how something like that would make me feel better.
I went and took a nap at mom's house. Dale wanted to see a movie. I didn't. And I totally and intentionally forgot about Bruce. I never called him.
I went to the gym at 9PM. After my workout I went back to my folk's house and watched "Red Dawn". That was a really good, futuristic and scary World War III movie. I left at 11PM.
When I got to my house Marty was gone (probably in Sacramento). I had messages from Jim Koran, Bruce Diamond and Cedric Green. Bruce and Cedric are merely friends and that's how I want it to remain. G'Night!
