"How do you like living in my world so far?"
-Doris Duke to her butler

"Bernard & Doris"
Continuous monitoring of the human body will ultimately be 'in the works'. How convenient!
Did you ever stop to think how silly and also how dangerous it is to live our lives with absolutely no monitoring of our body’s medical status? Years from now people will look back and find it unbelievable that heart attacks, strokes, hormone imbalances, sugar levels, and hundreds of other bodily vital signs and malfunctions were not being continuously anticipated and monitored by medical implants. We can call this concept body 2.0, or the networked body, and we need it now! READ the detailed article here from SingularityHub.com:

Today, at MACY's I met a gal named Nicole. She was a customer that I may never see again.
She told me, "I'm headed for Hawaii on Tuesday to see my Dad."
"Oh really? I have a vacation week coming. I'm tempted to fly with you!"
"Maybe I'll see you."
And that was the end of that. Now I'm thinking of Hawaii.
Ron, Kalyn and Lew were at MACY's demonstrating CHANEL, YSL and POLO colognes respectively. They were nice folks and it was nice to be introduced to some new faces while in the Men's Fragrances department. Lew happened to mention a party he was having tonight.
Ron tried to entice me into attending, "You should go!"
I asked Lew for the directions.
At 1:30PM I was done for my MACY's day and I went over to mom's pad to take a nap. I had planned to go to Lew's party but decided against it. I went to Emporium with mom for a couple of hours for some random holiday shopping. I ended up getting a gift for Earl and my supervisor, Stephanie at PAC BELL.
I am now home again and wondering about Chris Cordellos. This is the day he was supposed to be getting out of the US Coast Guard. I wonder whether or not I will hear from him any time soon.
I did receive a card from Jim Koran in Los Angeles yesterday. He seems to be doing well despite the mentioning of the deaths of two of his friends.
Bob Umland is too busy to really make time for me (I think).
My telephone is not exactly ringing off the hook (when I am at home, at least). I kind of wish I should have gone to the party tonight at Lew's...but it's just as well.
I am ready for more adventures in the 1965 novel by Jerzy Kosinski (The Painted Bird).
Oh yes! I did receive my new solid brass duck handle umbrella today. It is so sharp looking. I LOVE IT! It's just a "material object"...but its form and finesse make me feel good, right and together.
"I liked that my being with him made a lot of people crazy."
