So by the time it came to afternoon on this day,
I'd dropped off to sleep again and was dreaming about food.
Surprisingly, not so much the taste of it in my mouth as the sight of it being prepared, and the smells, the savory air of a good kitchen.

Monday
It was a rather eventful day.
My co-worker, Cindy Chow, is back from her vacation. Stephanie Bautista, my supervisor, is being ever-so-sweet. Carl, my tub mate, is being nice, too.
Karyn Kossoff and I ate at 'The Metro Cafe' for lunch once again.
Ryan Hargrave talked to me a bit about our plans to see the Diana Ross concert at the Cow Palace. I have paid for my ticket already.
After the Pacific Bell work day I walked on over to MACY's. While on my way I caught a brief glimpse of Karen (Bob Umland's friend/co-worker) of Wilkes-Bashford. I'm not sure if she saw me but if she did, then she ignored me.
My first work night at MACY's Men's Fragrances was fun. It felt good to make a few sales. I really liked it. I did very well, too. The customers liked me. Ron Shelley and Ryan Hargrave stopped in briefly to share a few words and then they left. They are so cool.
I met a gal named Kelly who lives in Berkeley. She's new.
After the commute of BART, getting into my car and the delay due to the opening of the High Street Bridge I did not get home until 10:45PM. I quickly munched on some Cocoa Pebbles and Shredded Wheat to satisfy my hunger craving. My tonsils seemed slightly swollen and were bothering me. I think it was because I had that cold BECKS beer at lunchtime today.
I met a lot of neat people while on the MACY's floor. There was a lot of 'eye contact' and flirting. It's great. Now I know what Bob Umland experiences on a regular basis at his Wilkes-Bashford store. I can bet on it. It's 11:30PM, time to hit the hay.
My sleep was deep and dreamless.
Neither the waning moon nor the rising sun awoke me.
And even when I was about to wake up, I calmed myself by saying:
"You made a great effort yesterday, so spare your sleep", and went to sleep again.
