He had been feeling a hot surge of unreasoning jealousy over something that had never happened in actuality, and could never happen.

"The Divided Path"
A few months ago I saw a romantic comedy called "500 Days of Summer". There were a few good lines and it was a cute film (even if I did only rate it a 3-STAR movie). What I remember most was a flashback to music by 'The Smiths' that I loved in the 1980's. A song called "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" had such significant memories for me (as it was originally released in 1986 & I felt I had discovered it at that time). In those days, no one knew of this particular tune because 'the single' was never OFFICIALLY released until 1992.

Listen to it (by clicking on the link above). I love the voice of MORRISSEY. His lyrics/music always seemed so ahead of the times:
Take me out tonight
Where there's music and there's people
And they're young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one
Anymore
Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and I
Want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh, please don't drop me home
Because it's not my home, it's their
Home, and I'm welcome no more
And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
Take me out tonight
Take me anywhere, I don't care
I don't care, I don't care
And in the darkened underpass
I thought oh god, my chance has come at last
(but then a strange fear gripped me and I
Just couldn't ask)
Take me out tonight
Oh, take me anywhere, I don't care
I don't care, I don't care
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I haven't got one, da ...
Oh, I haven't got one
And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
Oh, there is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out

Tuesday
I sold one RCF (Remote Call Forwarding Service) today. I had lunch with Barbara and Bobbie on the Market Street steps, observing the crowds.
I was bicycling from 6pm-7pm.
Helen went grocery shopping and prepared a big dinner for 'Tony and I'. We ate chicken, veggies and rice. It was all very good.
I started thinking about my low funds and my plans for vacation. I focused on my striving wish for having more funds. I then found myself looking through the International Male catalog. I was tempted to buy more clothes, so I put the catalog away.
I watched a bit of "Paper Dolls" on TV. I decided to disrobe and change into my "black nightie" pullover. It was relaxing. I hit the sack. This day passed by so fast.
