'A baby's smile...
The truth of that smile was in the eye and heart of the parent and in the unfolding love that only had meaning through time.
-Ian McEwan
"Enduring Love"
After writing about 'The Incredible Mr. Limpet' movie yesterday I also remembered a book I read as child called 'Nobody Listens To Andrew'. It had such an impact on me when I was a boy. It's a great one to read even today. And so I am recommending it for my blog today.

Today I shared 'spare ribs' with my brother, Tony, and Helen. It was a great lunch (even if my hands needed extra cleaning).
I called Chris Cordellos at his Arcata house at around 11:30AM. He gave me the repetitive "Yeah" treatment once again. It meant that he couldn't really talk with Barb around (I guess).
After work I ate a home cooked meal (made by mom). Mom is on vacation. Her 'sweet rice' dessert with the whipped egg whites with sprinkles of cinnamon is my favorite. I was too full to go out on my typical bike ride.
I watched a taped episode of
"The Young & The Restless" with mom.

We also watched a show called "Adam" that was about missing children. It was based on the true story of Adam Walsh.
After their child is abducted, John and Reve Walsh are trying to find him. But, shortly after that, Adam is found dead (quite sad). I went to bed after that.
