"And your lips...they're like red wine. I'm sure they'd be more intoxicating than any wine I ever drank."

I wonder if Stacey Bressler gets excited at the sounds of any of the

I heard a song a few days ago and I am still squirming with excitement. The tune traveled within me. It is spine-tingling when a specific song comes my way that I love. This time it was "Jamming" by Bob 'Nesta' Marley that was released in 1977.
"Jamming" is a 'being on vacation' forever-type tune. I can easily flashback to Jamaica on May 26, 1999, my 40th Birthday. On that very evening I was in a pool in a private Jamaican Villa with a handful of special guests (Alan Freiman, Lauren Freiman, Gloria Weiner-Freiman Cohen, Jack 'Israel' Cohen, Susan Hirsch-Freiman and Jaan Torv). Alan surprised me with a live-band on a nearby stage and they proceeded to play "Jamming".

This music was playing under the stars over a Carribean summer sky. The great memory and feelings continue when I hear Bob Marley sing this song.
Speaking of memories...I did an internet search a few days ago and found Michael Thoennes on a professional website network known as LinkedIn.com. He left a voice mail message for me that pretty much went something like this:
"Hello Michael Armijo! This is Michael Thoennes.
I got your e-mail today on LinkedIn. I gave you my phone numbers and
my home number is 512-XXX-XXXX. I work from home with HP. I do all my work remotely, so I'm here most of the time. And I was surprised to see you on LinkedIn...or get the invite. I was just thinking about you not too long ago.
So...there you go! Anyway, hope all is well. I kind of caught up with you on the internet. And saw you have a daughter. All the places you've lived. You're finally blogging through your journal...so seems like you're doing fine. Anyway it was good to hear from you and I'll talk to you later."
It seems I need to call Michael back very soon so we can continue "Jamming".
Twenty-five years ago today:
April 7, 1984,
Saturday
Chris Cordellos called early this Saturday morning (between 9-9:30AM). He called to say he received my tennis/airplane postcard that I had sent him.
"I miss your company," he said.
I guess my presence during my brief visit had spoiled him. We did have fun as I look back on it.
"I plan on going to the zoo with Jim Severn and Dan, today," Chris shared as I could tell he wished I was coming along.
I ended up lounging and sleeping most of the day. My body was asking for it.
Michael T. telephoned a couple of times, too. I agreed to accompany him to a wedding at 5PM or so.
"I like you more and more every time I see you," Michael T. said.
This could mean that he will be seeing less of me. He walks kind of funny. He smiles a lot. He mentioned something about experimenting with 'crank' or 'coke' but I'm not sure if he was just calling my bluff.
Michael T. continued, "My sister, Buttons, is visiting from Sacramento."
Buttons was cute. Michael later shared with me that his sister thought I was cute.
"Buttons said she wants your body," Michael T. said.
I laughed out loud.
I had a reasonably good time, considering I was still nursing a cold. I departed at 10PM-ish. I did not attend Stevi's housewarming in San Francisco (my co-worker, Dave Vigil's friend). I wasn't feeling too hot about driving into The City.
I said, "Good night mom, Good night dad." And then I went to bed for the night.
