A Most Dangerous Pass
Posted on 08:44 by Unknown
It struck him that matters had reached a most dangerous pass,
and he tried to think of a way out,
some plan of action.

Thursday
I gave Steve a quick drive home after work.
My bike ride was ultra invigorating today. I rode until about 7:30PM.
While Tony and I were watching “Crossed Swords”, a fairy-tale movie about ‘The Prince and the Pauper’ at approximately 8:45pm I received a telephone call from Chris Cordellos. The call was much to my amazement because Chris had said he was calling from Safeway on Bay Farm Island!
I immediately went over there and we shared a bite at the Ice-Cream Dock. Then we went inside Safeway to buy some champagne, drinking it on the Harbor Bay lagoon bridge on behalf of this ‘surprise celebration’. It was nice but we were both rather tired of hanging out there.
We left for ‘The Islander’ in Central Alameda and it only financially bruised me of $41 on my Preferred VISA (so I shall worry about that later). We had a good time until Chris freaked me out by shunning me away. He was going through this fear of his normality once again. He went on to explain about his ‘feeling for girls’.
I kept using my ‘as long as we’re happy’ phrase.
“I know you’re right,” Chris said as he realized I made sense.
Time will tell.
